A HRK 10 million-worth grant from the European Union funds to Atlantic Grupa and Ruđer Bošković Institute has been approved, helping realize Cedevita Healthy project that researches and develops a new low-calorie vitamin beverage.
Atlantic Grupa and its partner, Ruđer Bošković Institute, are launching a new investment project, adding another international success to its vitamin beverage category. It is Cedevita Healthy OTG – an improved version of Cedevita beverage in the "on-the-go" segment. The new beverage will be available on the market next year.
Ruđer Bošković Institute has been cooperating with Atlantic Grupa on the improvement of the formula, technology and design of the product. Also, it is Atlantic Grupa's first project which is partly financed from the EU funds. After a response to the call for proposals announced by the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, a detailed project evaluation had been performed, following which a grant in the amount of HRK 10 million was earmarked as an incentive for the demanding research and development activities.
Cedevita's high export potentials have urged its additional improvement. Owing to the new technology, knowledge, innovation and expertise of the Ruđer Bošković Institute and Atlantic Grupa teams, Cedevita is bringing the on-the-go fresh beverage production to a new level. While the new product will certainly strengthen the brand's international component, the project has not been launched only to boost the company's global competitiveness. The new-generation lid of Cedevita Healthy OTG meets the highest environmental standards and the formula with 50% less sugar stimulates healthy nutritional habits of its consumers.
