With the introduction of bottles made out of 50% recycled plastic, Cockta became a regional leader of recycling in the segment of carbonated soft drinks (CSD).
Introduction of R-PET packaging was a starting point for a regional campaign launched with the aim to raise awareness among the consumers on the positive aspects of recycling and also to motivate them to actively approach the challenges of environment protection.
As a part of the campaign, a special billboards were designed. These billboards communicate new Cockta packaging but also serve as a water collectors for rain which is then used to water Cockta Garden. This unique urban garden constructed out of 3.300 R-PET bottles and 2.876 bottle caps was exhibited during October in Slovenian CityPark and in the following moths the campaign will continue to Croatia and Serbia.
