The quality management system in the divisions of Atlantic Grupa is an integrated system which includes the following requirements:

- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)

- International standard for quality management system (ISO 9001:2000)

- International standard for environmental management system (ISO 14001:2004)

- International standard for companies supplying food products - International Food
Standard (IFS)

The system is certified according to the ISO 9001 standard, HACCP requirements in line with Codex Alimentarius, ISO 14000 and IFS provided by the certification company  Det Norske Veritas (DNV), the leader in the certification sector which earned its experience and professionalism with a longstanding market presence.

The goal is to secure the highest level of all business processes with the focus on consumer satisfaction and benefits for the wider social community. The supervision process starts already in the course of developing a new product. A multidisciplinary team of experts analyzes market requirements and, in accordance with the obtained results, defines the concept of a new product. All phases of creating and manufacturing a product go through the risk assessment process for the purpose of securing a completely safe product.The system also includes the selection of reliable and safe suppliers with whom partner relations of mutual cooperation and common goals are developed.

Any raw materials and packaging materials are subjected to entry control and only raw materials of appropriate quality may be used in the manufacturing and packaging process. During the manufacturing and packaging process, the so called “critical control points” are defined for each product type and all requirements of good hygiene practice are followed. Each manufactured series is analyzed in accordance with the requirements set for the placing on the market.

Quality control is carried out in the Quality Assurance laboratories, which equipment and professional staff enable a high level of analytic support. Only products which are in line with all quality requirements are distributed on the market. In such a way Atlantic Grupa is included in the integrated quality management system “from field to table”, the method which is the basis for ensuring safety and integrity of food products. The requirements of good hygiene practice are followed during the manufacturing and packaging process of any personal care product. Each manufactured series is analyzed in accordance with the requirements set for the placing on the market.

All companies within Atlantic Grupa are among the first ten business entities in the Republic of Croatia which drafted Waste Management Plans for the upcoming period in accordance with requirements of the competent state administration bodies.

Business processes in all Atlantic’s divisions are in line with recommendations, guidelines and/or standards of the European Union and compliance with high environmental standards tries to be achieved despite the fact that, considering the nature of the processes, the level of environmental risk is very low.
