Fidifarm OTC Within the specific business segment, in 2009 Atlantic Grupa and Fidifarm shall place on the market a new product line in the field of OTC (over-the-counter) medications/preparations. The first three products to be found on the shelves of pharmacies will be Purisan granules, Uvin H forte granules and C 1000 effervescent tablets. A production programme that will cover the whole OTC segment is also planned.

PURISAN granules

Purisan granules contain a combination of senna, fennel, cumin and peppermint extracts. Their joint action enables an efficient laxative effect without accompanying cramps. Purisan granules are intended for patients who suffer from constipation and are on the list of the Croatian Institute for Health Insurance for the preparation and emptying of bowels prior to radiologic and endoscopic tests.

 UVIN H forte granules

UVIN H forte is a medicine intended for the treatment of non-complicated urinary tract infections, especially those caused by E. coli bacteria.  Main ingredient of the medicine is a bearberry leaf (Uvae Ursi folium) which has a strong antibacterial effect. UVIN H forte also contains inactive substances (birch leaf, spiny restharrow root and horsetail herb dry extracts) which support the effect of bearberry leaves by stimulating diuresis and increasing urine volume.

 C-1000 effervescent tablets

C-1000 is a non-prescription medicine that contains 1,000 mg of vitamin C with a refreshing lemon taste. Increased requirements for vitamin C occur under stress, in different diseases and injuries, colds and in athletes, pregnant women and smokers.
