At the official awards ceremony of the HRO Today organisation held in Dublin at the beginning of this week, within the framework of the Forum HRO Europe, Middle East and Asia 2017, Mojca Domiter, Executive Director of Human Resources at Atlantic Grupa received the CHRO of the Year for Lifetime Achievement award.
The award is presented by the world umbrella organisation – HRO Today, that brings together experts in human resources management. This global organisation stemming from the United States, publishes a global HR magazine, organises the certification of HR experts, and promotes good practice in human resources management through the awarding of the world’s best HR leaders.
The selection process begins with an application that is submitted according to predefined criteria, which this year numbered about 40 in the category. The Management of the HRO Today organisation selects 11 finalists based on application descriptions and interviews with colleagues from the company, after which the jury which is comprised of last-year’s winners chooses this year’s title bearers of the CHRO of the Year award in 4 categories – innovation, sustainable workforce, profit/non-profit, and lifetime achievement.
Remarking jokingly that we are still too young for lifetime achievement awards, Mojca Domiter accepted the CHRO of the Year for Lifetime Achievement award on behalf of the whole Human Resources team at Atlantic Grupa, which she received among world leading competitors such as Amazon, CISCO and Rimac Automobili. The award is received for permanent and noteworthy contribution to the company’s HR operations and business strategy, and as such represents a recognition for the efforts of the entire team of colleagues in Human Resources to the improvement of the practice of human resources management at Atlantic Grupa.
